The animation has been created to promote firm-wide subscriptions. Based on an initial script, the brainstorming phase was able to produce sketches divided by shots and scenes. The development of the shots and scenes, their transitions, and orientation were defined in the storyboards to give guidance for the next phase.
After this step, all the style boards with illustrations were created. The colors applied are the primary and secondary colors from the brand identity palette. The compositions make use of these colors considering contrast, balance, and relevance of the subject in the shots. The secondary colors, dark blue, cyan, orange, and violet, are also used for the company’s forum networks and they were employed in specific scenes where the online community was mentioned.
All the illustrations were then imported to Adobe After Effects to create the animation. In an imaginative world, the animation alternates scenes with abstract elements and lines with text following the timing of the voice over and the music. The logo animation is applied as an introduction and conclusion of the animation to emphasize the branding.
