BuildingGreen.

The BuildingGreen website is built on a fully customized Drupal 7 platform. Modules such as the e-commerce, forum and user profile are integrated into the website to support the needs of subscribers and admins. Regarding the front-end, my role has been focused on updating the current website and creating the front-end structure of the new one. The updates for the current website include featuring monthly issues, creating promotional graphic assets, recreating the structure of existing templates, and updating content on Drupal. A specific example of updates is the rebranding project which introduced colors for each section and a transition from the outdated user interface to the one for the new website. Any update as well as the development for the front-end structure for the new website required editing PHP templates in HTML, SCSS, Javascript and frameworks such as Bootstrap.

The New Website

The project for the new website consisted in redesigning and recoding the website. The pages hosted on the Content Management System Drupal 9 have been recreated as templates built in HTML 5, SCSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Some of the plugins have been installed on the platform using the Node Modules and customizing stylesheets and JS files to adapt the structure and interactions created on the Prototype. All the pages are cross-platform compatible and have been tested on Browser Stack both for mobile and desktop devices. Some widgets such as sliders, tables, menus have adaptations for mobile different from the desktop version to improve their usability on specific devices. Other customizations completed on the CMS Drupal 9 include messaging, notifications, quizzes, and more.
